Music Notes

Hello everyone! We are in for another busy week here in the music department. No rest yet =)

Here is our week coming up:

Tuesday – Terror 3-5, Band Concert – 6pm call, 7pm concert (thats tonight!)
Wednesday – 7:30am Jazz Improv Clinic I, Men’s Choir 3-4 – new music! Tri-M officer mtg 3-4
Thursday – Terror Dress Rehearsal 4pm-8p, Madrigals 3-4, 6th 7th and 8th grade Band and Choir Concert 7pm @ SMS
Friday – 3pm Jazz Improv Clinic II, FB Game/Senior Night/Terror in the Timber
Saturday – Terror in the Timber

Next week – Jazz Ensemble Auditions and Fall Play (not technically music but many of the music kids are involved!)

Nashville

We are filling up our roster for the Nashville trip in June, 2014. If you are someone who has been on the fence or are waiting, please contact me as soon as you are able. We would really like to finalize our trip this week. More information on our Nashville page

Musicfest

Thank you to all of the parents and students who helped during the Musicfest. The event was hugely successful and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We are fortunate to have such active and invested parents. The program is stronger for it. Thank you!
