Regiment Recap
(I tried to get selfies with all the sections but didn’t quite get there. I’m coming after you next Brass and Percussion!)
The Regiment performed this weekend at the Marengo Settler’s Days marching festival. The Regiment took 2nd in class for parade and a close 2nd in class for the field competition. We received best in class caption awards for Drum Major, Brass, Woodwinds, Marching and Percussion. Congratulations Regiment!!
This is our last week of practice and performances for the Renegade Regiment 2014. We have a lot of work to do and we have 2 of the largest shows for the Regiment all season this weekend. The U of I Marching Championships will be a tremendous experience and MusicFest is always a great home show.
Lets finish strong!
ILMEA
We had a full bus of students who auditioned for ILMEA this weekend. The students all did well and learned a lot about the audition process. We will be announcing who was accepted to ILMEA district soon!
MusicFest 2014
We are always looking for more help for this event. We are hosting 16 marching bands this Sunday and need all the help we can get. If you are interested in helping please contact Tina Joseph at tinajosephssma@gmail.com

Good luck to the R.R. It’s good to see you’red still going strong! My kids were in it many years ago and loved it. The Marengo show was an award winner for us in 1999 season! Hope to make it over.
