Listen to the following recordings from our rehearsal on Friday. (the ensemble you are in)
As you listen, write down as many things we need to improve on. Use as many musical descriptors as possible and try to think in terms of fixing the problem. For example don’t just list: “wrong notes,” but rather “we are missing the key signature from 33-35. Work on the scale in this key and writing in accidentals could help.” It also could help to listen to the pieces multiple times so you are able to comment on the different levels of listening as well.
Bring all of your notes to class so that on Monday we are able to discuss and prioritize our rehearsal plan. I will be checking these for a grade as well.
