I hope everyone is enjoying their Winter Break!

Mini Music Notes:

Indoor Percussion Practice for Dec 27th has been cancelled. Look at your music though!!! I will post when I am able to get all of the music up to the website.
Winterguard Schedule:
- Sun: Dec 28th 12pm-5pm
- Fri/Sat Jan 2/3 Winter Camp 9am-7pm
- Sun Jan 4th 12pm-5pm
Mon Jan 5th – Indoor Percussion Rehearsal 6pm

Holiday Break Checklist

This is a great time for a nice breather and/or break from the daily grind of school however here are just a few questions to think about. Remember daily practice for a short amount of time (even 20 minutes!) is much, much better than trying to cram a lot of practice in towards the end of the break when you haven’t played your instrument in 2 weeks!

A few thoughts/questions for you over the break.
- Have you practiced your instrument yet?
- Have you looked at the music for the next concert cycle? Much of it is available on Smartmusic!
- Have you begun preparing your auditions for the Musical Auditions? Remember these take place beginning Jan 12th and you want to be ready!
- Jazz Ensemble/Lab have you looked at your jazz music? Have you listened to any Jazz?!?!
