Welcome back from the holidays everyone!
Since we are getting back into the swing of things I thought I would outline a few points for the next few weeks.
We have begun Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Lab rehearsals this week and these will continue for the remainder of the year. The Jazz Ensemble has already had two very productive rehearsals and is showing a lot of promise. We have our sights set on the WIU Jazz festival – a change in the calendar from February 4th to February 18th which is sooner than it seems!
Next week another payment for our 2012 Disney Trip is due. The suggested payment amount is $200 and may be payed by check made out to Sandwich High School or through the online payment system which you can find here. "Option 1" is the suggested payment amount and "Option 2" is setup so you may choose the amount you wish to pay.
Fundraising is ongoing as usual. World's Finest chocolate is available to sell as well as Thermal Lunch Totes. We highly encourage your students to participate in these fundraisers as they can be very lucrative and can be used to reduce your Disney Payments! (or many other future music expenses)
IMEA All-State is around the corner. We will be leaving January 25 after school and will return on January 28. Packets have been sent home with students however you can find more information here
Musical rehearsals are beginning in earnest with our production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! Please look for more details as we get close to opening night!
