Regiment Recap for the Stagg Marching Jamboree
The Renegade Regiment had their first marching festival this past weekend. With a group of almost 45% rookies, many were very nervous for their first show out!
The day began with a fairly frigid rehearsal in the morning but soon warmed up as we were loading. The students handled themselves like pros for all of the loading and unloading. We didn’t have a single student forget part of their uniform or equipment! All of the students were mature and responsible for the entire. Great work everyone on representing Sandwich!
The Regiment performed well and placed 5th in class. Joe Duffy and John Sauer received Best Drum Major in our caption and the percussion placed 2nd overall in our caption. Congratulations to everyone!
There is a lot of great competition in A class this year and I can’t wait to see what the Regiment brings for the next few competitions. We have 2 weeks to prepare for our next competition on Saturday, Sep 27 at the NCHS Marching Classic. Let’s show them who the Regiment is!
